Institutional members of NAGCAS form a core body of institutions and units with carriage of careers education for the post secondary sector across Australia.

Membership of NAGCAS offers these institutions a seat on the Institutional Representatives Committee of NAGCAS – which is charged with discussion of issues that impact on careers education in the sector and within institutions. The Institutional Representatives Committee also provides a peer network of Services for benchmarking, collaborative research and sharing of best practice approaches.

NAGCAS Institutional Members are supported in applying the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners into their services.

The NAGCAS membership year runs from January 1 to December 31 each year and current financial members will automatically have their membership rolled over on January 1.
