Invitation to Attend

The National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (NAGCAS) cordially invites you join your colleagues for three days of intense professional development. You will join participants from the University and TAFE sectors, industry, governments, education providers and secondary schools from across Australia as well as internationally from New Zealand, the UK, USA, Canada and Asia.

The conference will provide you with many opportunities to:
•     hear from and interact with, international, national and local experts;
•     attend interactive presentations from practitioners and researchers;
•     participate in professional competitions;
•     experience a variety of networking and social opportunities and functions; and
•     take time to reflect, re-energise and discuss with like-minded colleagues

The Conference commences at 10.30am On Wednesday 28 November, this will allow delegates to arrive Wednesday morning and avoid additional accommodation costs for Tuesday evening. The conference will conclude at 3.00pm on Friday 30 November, to allow delegates to take flights back on Friday afternoon if they don’t want to stay on and enjoy Brisbane’s hospitality!


The conference will be held at The Science and Engineering Centre,SEC, (P-Block) at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). This SEC is purposefully designed to hold conferences and is well-equipped with state of the art facilities as well as having a wide deck which allows participants to interact with nature.  This building is on the Gardens Point Campus of QUT at the bottom of George Street in the heart of Brisbane city.

This theme was developed to reflect the importance of technology in our future working lives, both for us and our students. Issues like artificial intelligence and digital disruption will have a profound impact on all of us. The reimagined workforce will be reshaped by an emphasis on entrepreneurship, casualization and robotics.
