Summary: At the University of Western Sydney (UWS), the careers service was successful in obtaining a grant to fund a 2 year project aimed at reviewing and updating their approach to “blended” career service delivery – with a particular focus on e-learning . Over half-way through it is showing promising results with a demonstrable increase in reach to students, range of careers education options available, and an improved relationship between the traditional face-to-face and outline service delivery approaches. But will these results be sustainable when the extra funding runs out? What changes are needed to ensure they are ready to carry the blended Careers Service into the future? This presentation will provided an overview of the UWS Careers experience so far, and finish with discussion to encourage a sharing of practice amongst the participants.
